BASE PLATE SLUMP FLOW TEST SCC

This test is used to check for the flowability of the mixture  in the absence of obstruction. The slump spread of each mix was tested and recorded for t500, where the time taken for the mixture to reach 500 mm diameter where the concrete reached its maximum diameter. In order for the mixture to be characterized as Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC), dmax must be in the range of 650 mm to 800 mm.
